One of the more fun campus events is taking on the loony left directly with counter-protests. As a student at UT-Austin I did quite a bit of this. And now as the Director of Campaigns at FreedomWorks, I have more time and a bigger budget (it used to be $0) to organize crashes of leftist protests.

Our latest crash was in nearby Bethesda, Maryland. MoveOn.org was planning an “oil-free president” day of action, so we decided to show up and provide a dissenting voice. This isn’t hard to do. Just buy some poster board, come up with witty slogans and show up. Trust me, it is as much fun as it looks.
